Asnong hammer mills Series IMx

Series IMx, specially designed for milling under inert atmospheres. The concept differs considerably from the classic mill. Rotor speed goes up to 3600 rpm with tip speed 140 m/s while the forced air flow is absent. Although the total milling installation is simpler, maintenance and operation of the inert mill requires slightly more attention.In breweries the inert mill runs under CO2. Other applications are: the milling of flammable or explosive materials, such as alternative fuels.

The versions IM101 and IM151/251 are capable to convey during milling which simplifies the overall system.
